I have known this place for years. I love their sushi! A bit more pricey than I usually like, but the food and service are WELL worth it.

Hidden gem. It's worth the trip and the money for the quality. Best donburi and takoyaki in town. Sushi is fresh. Doesn't have the deepest flavor and the fattiest cuts but we're not really next to Tsukiji market, let alone an ocean, so we have to manage our expectations. Staff is nice, decor is top notch, everything is clean. Bring a date or bring a family, it can do it all.

My daughter took me to Akagi last night for the 1st time. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the people there are very friendly. The food was very good. I had tempura shrimp in the bento box and I loved the miso soup. Definitely would recommend it to everyone.

I found this place by pure chance and I’m so glad I checked it out. The food is super fresh, the people are VERY nice and the customer service is superb. They have the best miso soup by far within the entire state that tastes the most relative to miso in japan. The Bento boxes are really good in size and fill you up. Very juicy with lots of flavor!
